Flu Vaccination
If you are aged 65 or over, or if you have any of the following problems (however old you are) from the end of September we recommend you have your free flu vaccination.
- a serious heart or chest complaint, including asthma
- serious kidney disease
- diabetes
- lowered immunity due to disease or treatment such as steroid medication or cancer treatment
- if you have ever had a stroke
We will be holding walk in flu vaccination clinics on:-
Saturday 13th October 2012 9.00am - 12.30pm
and
Saturday 20th October 2012 9.00am - 12.30pm
You must bring your invite letter with you on the day
or you will not be seen.
Do not wish to have your flu vaccination?
If you are over 65 years or in one of the "at risk" groups and do not wish to have the flu vaccination it is important to let us know you do not want to have the vaccination.

Vaccines For Risk Groups
People who fall into certain risk groups may be offered extra vaccines. These include vaccinations against diseases such as pneumococcal infection, hepatitis B, tuberculosis (TB), seasonal flu and chickenpox. See the NHS Choices pages on vaccines for adults to find out whether you should have one.
